SERVER GOING DOWN FOR FEW DAYS.
Posted by: Skylord123 - 08-23-2011, 03:03 AM - Forum: Community News - Replies (4)

I am moving to a new house and have to turn the Teamspeak and Terraria servers off until i get setup at the new place. As soon as I have internet I will put the servers back online. (It wont take long, they are usually pretty quick at getting the whole thing setup)

Some problems with this are:
Account page and registering will be disabled until the servers come back online.

Now it is 2:01am right now, I was told the internet would be turned off in the morning. So just a few hours after this post the server should be going down.

NOTICEBig GrinISABLING REGISTRATION NOW.

I will try and keep information updated on this thread.

I don't know when it will be back. Hopefully soon.

I may be temporarily taking over hosting.

  Terraria 1.0.6.1 Patch
Posted by: Memeej - 08-18-2011, 03:39 AM - Forum: Community News - No Replies

Hey guys, so apparently there's a new patch that came out last night.
They fixed alot of bugs and added a Sawmill for 'advanced crafting'
Workbenches are only for normal crafting.
Changelog:

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that would cause chests to contain stacks of empty items.
The crafting list now correctly updates after using the container loot buttons.
The direction bathtubs face when placed is now correctly sent to the server. This prevents bathtub duplication issues.
Smashing Obsidian Walls no longer gives Obsidian Ore.
Walls that are automatically placed to fill small gaps are now correctly taken from the player’s inventory.
Fixed a bug that causes Green Slimes to get stuck in the ground and start sinking.
Player ghosts no longer move when typing.
Fixed a bug that would cause mana to sometimes not regenerate when the player has 0 mana.
Slimes no longer chase the player in water when they are not in aggressive mode.
Lesser Restoration Potions and Restoration Potions now only heal for 50/100 life and 50/100 mana.
Lesser Mana Potions and Mana Potions now only restore 50/100 mana.
Changed the way the value of stacked items is rounded to fix selling/buyback inconsistencies.
Some items can now be placed in lava, this includes clay pots and fire blossom seeds.
Fixed a bug that would cause shadow orbs to me smashed during world generation. This was causing meteors to start spawning before the player is at the appropriate gear level.
Generated dirt walls now correctly blend with player placed dirt walls. Player placed dirt walls now have new graphics to differ from generated walls.
Boomerangs now reset correctly when you use your magic mirror if they are still flying.
Mediumcore characters now correctly drop ammo on death.
“Misc” has been reworded to say “Shoes” on the shoes color settings screen.

Item Addition

Added the Sawmill which replaces the Workbench for “advanced” wood crafting. The Workbench is now designated for “basic” wood crafting.

Do not abuse rep just because you're mad. Simply ignore it. Rep abuse will get you warned. Skylar wants a nice community, so lets try to keep it that way.

  Server status with 1.06 update.
Posted by: Skylord123 - 08-11-2011, 12:39 AM - Forum: Community News - Replies (2)

I know everyone thinks the server is down for good, this is not true. Our server runs a special modded version of the game that runs under Ubuntu linux, the creators of the mod are working hard to release the new version.
The reason is is taking so long is due to all the new updates in 1.06, they need to be rewritten into the modded version of the game. Their is a updated release of the server but it is unstable and you must build the code yourself.
I can build the code and run the server, the only thing is some thing wont work and their will be many bugs. If i did put the server online i would be constantly updating bugs to the mod website. I think this will be the best option but over the next 2 weeks i will be moving stuff from my current home into my new home, so the server could be going offline during the move until i get it setup at the new place.

I do read your posts and will answer any questions you have, but until i get the server online there is nothing i can do server-side.

Thank you for your patience.
~Skylar

  New server possibility
Posted by: Skylord123 - 08-08-2011, 08:49 PM - Forum: Community News - Replies (7)

We could be getting a Garry's Mod server from our good buddy DarkLight who owns yayfun.net.
The server would be a 12 slot and running on a freespace map and will be a freebuild server most likely. The only thing is i have to be sure that it will be in use, there is no point in having a server that wont be used.

It should be tons of fun though, comment with what you think.

Smile Terraria Server and the Forums are online!

I finally decided to install a forum and integrate it with the website, and i must say it is way better then me having to code the whole forum system.

We also have a Terraria Dedicated Server that any one is free to join and have fun. I'm starting to learn c# so I can create plugins for the server, but this will take time. But for now the server has some plugins that keep griefers at bay and enhance what the users can do in game.

-If you are new to the server you will need to type /reg <password>
-You need to replace <password> with whatever password you want to have for the username you are currently playing on.
-Once the Admin accepts your registration YOU MUST REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD to reconnect again with that username.
-If you forget your password you can make a new player and connect then ask for a password change on your default player. OR ask on forums for a password change.
-You can change your password with /pass <password>
